Privacy
Without an account
Your diary is kept in this browser's local storage and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so export it first if you want to keep it.
With an account
We store:
- your email address, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password — or, with Google sign-in, Google's id for your account;
- your diary entries and routine items, so they sync between your devices;
- the time and IP address of each sign-in, so the account's sign-in history can be checked;
- your display name and bio, if you fill them in on your profile.
Entries you delete are kept as a deletion marker for 90 days so your other devices learn about it, then removed.
Counting visits
bedlog counts visits and signed-in users with lytics, an analytics service run by the same operator. It receives your account's internal id, never your email address, and nothing from your diary.
Feedback
If you send feedback, we store what you wrote, the page you sent it from, and the email address if you gave one.
Questions or a request to delete your account: use the feedback form and leave an email address.
